1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ghosty (“the App”), developed by Abdullahi Hassan Dan-Ali (CypherX Labs), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Ghosty is a companion app for WhatsApp that provides tools such as Status Saver, Ghost Reader, Message Recovery, Direct Chat, Ghost Reply, Ghost Echo, Ghost Script, Profile Lab, Privacy Vault, and Analytics Lab. All core features operate locally on your device; no message content is uploaded to external servers.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from chat participants before using message‑reading or auto‑reply features.
- You must not use the App for illegal purposes, harassment, spamming, or to invade others’ privacy.
- You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute the App.
- You acknowledge that features like Ghost Reader and Ghost Reply require notification access and may affect battery life.
- You are responsible for complying with WhatsApp’s Terms of Service when using Ghosty. CypherX Labs assumes no liability for any violation of third‑party terms by you.
4. In‑App Purchases & Ads
Ghosty offers a free, ad‑supported version and an optional Pro upgrade via Google Play Billing. Pro removes all ads and unlocks premium tools. All payments are handled by Google Play; we do not store payment information. Purchases are final and subject to Google Play’s refund policies.
Free users may also unlock certain features by watching rewarded video ads.
Ghosty uses third‑party services for advertising, analytics, and other features. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
5. Intellectual Property
The Ghosty name, logo, app design, and all original code are the intellectual property of CypherX Labs. You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Ghosty is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all future versions of WhatsApp or Android.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CypherX Labs and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any).
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the App. Your locally stored data remains on your device and can be deleted by you.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
